Paul started work within the Foundry industry in 1977 on the shop floor, hands on in the day to day running of the plant and equipment.
Working up from the maintenance through staff positions to Projects and Facilities and finally into Plant Engineering responsible for the overall engineering within the foundry, including project budgets, equipment specifications, design layouts and equipment installation. He has worked for the Global leaders in Aluminium automotive castings and Structural components in Europe, the Americas and Asia for the past 30 years.
Responsibility, from initial concept design to production of engineering equipment and installations within timing & budgetary requirements, predominantly within the automotive industry. Design, Manufacture, Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment. Trouble shooting of production processes. Familiar with Project planning tools.
Computer Aided Design, Aluminium Casting, Cell based manufacturing. Significant achievements in the design and development of new and innovative processes and equipment to address quality, cost and feasibility issues. Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Project and Powerpoint.
Extensive dealings throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia with suppliers and customers on technical developments, re-designs and negotiations of equipment and processes.
German speaking.
Paul has formed the company with his son who is also an engineer and qualified in 2D CAD and 3D Solidworks. He also has Aluminium automotive foundry experience and Automotive tooling design experience working in the Americas.
The company can also offer all types of drawing requirements both on site and off and can adapt to any industry required.
